103 EMF sensors in 44 Serbian cities

27.12.2022

As part of its socially responsible project “System for continuous monitoring of electromagnetic field levels – EMF RATEL in the Republic of Serbia“, RATEL has installed a new set of sensors, expanding the existing EMF RATEL sensor network, which now counts 103 sensors operating in 44 cities across the country.

The EMF RATEL system uses a network of sensors performing continuous and long-term monitoring of electromagnetic field levels generated by electronic communications networks and equipment.

The EMF network expansion was carried out in cooperation with local self-government units and institutions that had already took part in the realization of this project’s activities.

Through this project, RATEL enabled public display of electromagnetic field measurement results and facilited further advancement of communications networks in Serbia.

The data about electromagnetic field level measurements can be found at the interactive Internet portal address: https://emf.ratel.rs/eng/index, where locations with installed sensors can be viewed, along with corresponding values of measured electromagnetic field levels.

We will continue to expand the system in 2023 as well, by installing new sensors throughout the cities nationwide, with a special focus on locations of increased sensitivity.

We invite all interested legal parties (local self-government units, mobile operators and other companies and organizations) to join this project by proposing locations of interest for the existing network expansion and by investing in additional measurement sensors.
