Short Range Devices use frequency bands under the general authorization regime pursuant to the Allocation plan, along with other radio services, and are not allowed to cause harmful disturbances to any other radio service or to request protection against harmful disturbances from any radio service operating in accordance with the Allocation plan within the same frequency band.

For the SRDs operating pursuant to the Rulebook on the manner of radio frequency usage under general authorization regime, individual licenses for the use of radio frequencies are not issued.

For specific SRDs, registering based on user application is performed and is available in the Register of applications for the use of radio frequencies.
