26 sensors in 11 Serbian cities
RATEL is consistently expanding its System for continuous monitoring of electromagnetic field levels in Serbia – EMF, by installing this time another nine (2 sensors in Kraljevo and one sensor in Kragujevac, Pirot, Subotica, Požarevac, Smederevo, Jagodina and Novi Pazar) out of the total of 26 sensors, in the zones of increased sensitivity.
The system uses a sensor network through which a conitinuous and long-term monitoring of electromagnetic field levels pertaining to electronic communications networks and equipment is performed.
Eleven municipal administrations in the Republic of Serbia have recognized the importance of electromagnetic field monitoring and supported RATEL in installing the sensors, showing thus social responsibility as part of the common environment and health protection activities.
Information on electromagnetic field measurements can be accessed at: http://emf.ratel.rs, displaying locations with installed sensors and values of the measured electromagnetic field levels.
