DRAGAN PEJOVIĆ IS NEW DIRECTOR OF RATEL
At its 52nd session of August 12, 2020, the Managing Board of the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services unanimously elected Mr. Dragan Pejović as a new Director of RATEL for the period of 5 years. Dragan Pejović graduated from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Department of PTT Traffic. He acquired his work experience in his domain of expertise - postal traffic and services, with a significant portion of it in high managerial positions. His international activities include organization of the ERGP (European Regulators Group for Postal Services) Plenary Meeting in Belgrade in November 2018 and participation in the Extraordinary UPU (Universal Postal Union) Congress in Geneva in 2019, as a member of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia.
The Director's mandate lasts five years, and the appointment was preceded by the announcement of a Public vacancy notice and carrying out of the corresponding procedure, based on Article 19 of the Law on Electronic Communications („Official Gazette of RS“, Nos. 44/10, 60/13 – CC decision and 62/14, and 95/18 – other law) and Article 16 item 11 of the Statute of the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services („Official Gazette of RS“, Nos. 125/14 and 30/16) and the Decision of the Managing Board of the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of May 29, 2020.
Dr Vladica Tintor, former Director of RATEL, after five years of successful efforts in the development and strengthening of RATEL’s influence in the national and international realm, will be leaving for another duty assignment.
