The annual International Regulatory Conference titled 5G Society is Present, hosted by the Agency for Electronic Communications of North Macedonia, was held on May 30 and 31 in Struga.

Key topics that marked this year’s conference were: 5G technology in the Western Balkans, exchange of information and cyber security education, regulatory challenges and trends pertaining to user complaint resolution, digitization, market analysis and monitoring system.

RATEL’s representatives took an active part in the Conference by presenting two papers – „Cybersecurity awareness raising and education in the Republic of Serbia“ and „Acting upon user complaints in practice and in light of the new Law on Electronic Communications“.

Respective NRA representatives of North Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Turkey, representatives of various telecommunication companies, state officials of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as representatives of other companies and key players in the electronic communications market also participated in this event.
