RATEL’s representatives visited the Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia (AKOS). The purpose of the bilateral meeting was sharing of experience and best practice on the relevant topics of interest for both regulators.

The main issues discussed during the meeting include infrastructure sharing, availability and accessibility of infrastructure data, access to network elements, network neutrality, end-user protection and dispute resolution.

Both regulators feel that this form of cooperation is rather useful for capacity building and that experience and best practice sharing is essential for efficient electronic communication market regulation and further development of competition, to the benefit of end users.
