The group of 30 professors and students of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and College of Technical Sciences in Niš, headed by dr Vera Marković, full professor at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, visited on May 22, 2018, RATEL’s Monitoring and Measurement Center in Niš, as part of expert vocational training.

The students were acquainted with the tasks and activities of the employees at the MM Center regarding the control of the RF spectrum use, including current RATEL’s projects such as the construction of the system of remotely controlled MM stations, Mobile Network Benchmarking and construction of the system for continuous measurement of the EMF level in urban areas (EMF RATEL).

This visit was a follow-up of the cooperation between RATEL and the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and College of Technical Sciences in Niš. The colleagues from the two high educational institutions expressed both satisfaction with the successful visit and a wish to expand the cooperation in the aim of offering the students deeper knowledge regarding the use of modern technologies in the RF specrtum use control and monitoring of quality parameters in the electronic communications networks.
