The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services – RATEL has sustained a years-long business and technical cooperation with the Academy of Technical Educational Studies of Niš. As part of this cooperation, with an aim to acquire knowledge and skills in the area of communication technologies, students and professors of this higher education institution visited the Monitoring and Measurement Center (MMC) in Niš.

On this occasion, they were acquainted with RATEL’s organizational structure and tasks of the Monitoring Unit, including the RF spectrum monitoring system.

The visitors took a tour of the measurement premises where RF spectrum monitoring is performed, including monitoring and measurement vehicle equipped with a goniometry system. They were also acquainted with the equipment and systems used in the MMC, construction project of compact remotely controlled measurement stations (CRCS) and practical measurement of characteristic emissions and methods used by RATEL to detect their source.
