New Rulebook on out-of-court dispute resolution before Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services adopted
The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services – RATEL, within its prescribed competencies and deadlines, adopted the Rulebook on the out-of-court dispute resolution procedure before the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 58/24 of July 5, 2024), which came into force on July 13, 2024, and will be applicable as of January 1, 2025.
This rulebook stipulates in detail the requirements and the procedure for out-of-court dispute settlement in which RATEL resolves the dispute between the end-user and the publicly available electronic communication service provider.
Taking into account that this rulebook begins to apply on January 1, 2025, the procedures initiated before that date shall be resumed in accordance with the principles under which they were started, pursuant to the provision of Article 180, paragraph 3, of the Law on Electronic Communications ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 35/23), and Article 13 of this rulebook.
