New Regulations Come Into Force

The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, within its prescribed competencies and deadlines, has adopted the Rulebook on the amount and manner of payment by business entities to the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services for administrative expenses incurred during the general authorization regime management, monitoring and implementation ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 68/24 of August 9, 2024), which entered into force on August 17, 2024, and shall apply as of January 1, 2025. This Rulebook stipulates the amount to be paid and the manner of payment by business entities to the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services to cover administrative costs incurred during the general authorization regime management, monitoring and implementation.

 

At the proposal of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications adopted the Rulebook on the conditions to be fulfilled by business entities and other legal persons to perform measurements and inspection of the operation of electronic communication networks and services, related resources, electronic communication equipment, radio equipment and terminal equipment, regarding staff, equipment and space, including the manner of monitoring the fulfillment of prescribed conditions ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 68/24 of August 9, 2024), which entered into force on August 17, 2024, stipulating the conditions to be fulfilled by business entities and other legal persons in order to perform measurements and inspection of the operation of electronic communication networks and services, related resources, electronic communication equipment, radio equipment and terminal equipment, regarding staff, equipment and space, as well as the manner of monitoring the conformity with the prescribed requirements.
