Technical Arrangements on border coordination in 800 MHz and 2100 MHz frequency bands signed

At the meeting in Budapest, held on February 14, 2018, the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services signed, on a multilateral basis, two technical arrangements on border coordination in frequency bands dedicated to the provison of electronic communications services. Coordination arrangements were signed by the representatives of seven countries’ administrations (three of them being our neighbouring countries’ administrations). This enabled the definition of technical and other requirements for the activities of public mobile telecommunications operators nationally, in geographical areas where coordination of radio-frequency spectrum usage is carried out (in these two arrangements, the concerned border areas are those between Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Serbia, including the appropriate tripoints).
