Amateur radio service
Ratel / Electronic Communications / Radio frequency spectrum / Radio-communications / Amateur radio service

The functioning of the amateur radio service is described in the Rulebook on the manner of use of amateur radio stations. Amateur radio stations use radio frekvency bands determined by the Decision on the establishment of the Radio Frequency Band Allocation Plan („Official Gazette of RS“, No. 9/24).
RATEL maintains, publishes and updates records of issued licenses (under construction) and individual permits issued to radio amateurs and radio amateur organizations (in preparation).
Amateur radio stations are subject to radio frequency spectrum monitoring, while radio amateurs and radio amateur organizations can report to RATEL the use of amateur radio stations that is contrary to the provisions of the Law, the Allocation Plan and the Rulebook, in order to protect the radio frequency bands assigned to the amateur radio service, via RATEL's official e-mail address: ratel@ratel.rs.
