Foreign nationals

A foreign citizen who is a radio amateur on the basis of a CEPT license or a national license equivalent to the corresponding CEPT license in accordance with CEPT Recommendation T/P 61-01, issued in the country of which he or she is a citizen, may use an amateur radio station in the Republic of Serbia for up to 90 days continuously, without obtaining the corresponding amateur radio license and individual permit.
The call sign for foreign citizens is composed of a prefix consisting of the letters YU, a slash (/) and the call sign that the radio amateur uses in his country.
To a foreign citizen holding an appropriate certificate for passing the amateur radio exam within the framework of CEPT, an appropriate CEPT license or a national license equivalent to an appropriate CEPT license in accordance with CEPT Recommendation T/P 61-02, the Regulator shall, upon request, issue an amateur radio license and an individual permit corresponding to his or her amateur radio class, on the basis of which he or she may use an amateur radio station in the Republic of Serbia for a period longer than 90 days, or for the duration of the residence permit.
For the issuance of an amateur radio license and individual permits, a foreign citizen is required to submit, along with a completed application for the issuance of an amateur radio license (form ZRLA) and a completed application for the issuance of an individual permit for the use of radio frequencies for a personal amateur radio station (form ZPDLA), documentation on a residence permit issued by the competent ministry or another document proving that he or she has a residence permit in the Republic of Serbia for more than 90 days.
For the issuance of an amateur radio license and an amateur radio permit, proof of payment of the fee (payment instructions) is submitted.
