Representatives of Ratel, as the National CERT, participated in the TF-CSIRT meeting and the European symposium of the organization FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams), held in Monte Carlo from January 14 to 16. This event, organized by the two largest organizations that bring together CERT teams, was an opportunity to exchange information on good practices, goals, ideas and ways to improve information security at the international level.

Head of the Cyber Security and National CERT Affairs Division of Ratel, dr Marko Krstić, presented our experiences in the development of basic training for CERT team employees. The first training of this kind was organized in November for the representatives of ICT systems of special importance, together with the Cyber Security Network Foundation, and was based on TRANSITS I materials, which are used for the training of new CERT members worldwide, with an additional module on the legal and institutional framework regarding information security in Serbia. The aim of the training is to make this knowledge available to interested parties in the Republic of Serbia, as well as to promote the formation of new CERT teams that would be familiar with the regulatory framework in the field of information security in our country.
