National CERT hosts visit of national and government CERTs of Cyprus, Montenegro and Albania
RATEL, as the National CERT, hosted a meeting with colleagues from the national and government CERTs of Cyprus, Montenegro and Albania, on 10 and 11 April 2025. The visit was organized by DCAF within the project "WB6-EU Cooperation for Improving Cybersecurity in the Western Balkans", funded by GIZ and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
The goal of the two-day visit was to exchange knowledge and information on current developments in the area of information security, the established institutional framework and the importance of collaboration in the incident management process and monitoring of current threats. During the visit, the participants had the opportunity to discuss the latest trends in cybersecurity, exchange experiences and best practices, information on tools and projects they are working on, as well as to strengthen existing ties between institutions and establish new contacts.
This visit was realized, among other things, thanks to the bilateral cooperation of the national CERTs of the Republic of Serbia and Cyprus and represents yet another step in strengthening regional collaboration and improving the capacities of CERTs to respond to cyber threats.
