Council session held on the election and appointment of director of RATEL
The Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services - RATEL, at its 46th session on 14 March 2025, elected and appointed Dragan Pejović as the Director of RATEL for a period of five years, starting from 31 August 2025.
The appointment of the Director was preceded by the announcement and implementation of a Public Competition in accordance with the Law on Electronic Communications.
Dragan Pejović graduated from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade. He spent his entire professional career in the core business positions of RATEL, namely in the areas of electronic communications and postal services.
In the field of postal traffic, he gained extensive work experience in the Public Enterprise "Post of Serbia" during 17 years of work in several management positions and through participation in development projects.
Since 2017, Dragan Pejović has continued his career at RATEL as Director of the Postal Services Department. He was appointed Director of RATEL in 2020 for a period of five years.
During his current mandate, RATEL, as a national independent regulatory body, has continued to effectively implement the established strategy in the field of electronic communications and postal services, as well as in the field of information security as the National CERT, which has additionally contributed to the development and strengthening of RATEL's role in the aforementioned sectors, both at national and international levels.
